General information about the Liar's Paradox

The Liar's Paradox is an ancient riddle. A man says, "This sentence is false". The paradox is that if the sentence is true, then it's false, and if it's false, then it's true. This puzzle has frustrated and puzzled many philosophers throughout time, but some have sneakily found ways out of the trap. Some of these ways include basic, assumed "truths" of languages, such as a sentence does not matter if it is not meaningful, and that the Liar's Paradox is not grammatical.
